Africa-origin product
Grown, raised, harvested or made on the continent. Provenance must be specific and verifiable — country, region, farm or co-op.
Apply · For African producers building premium brands
We carry a small number of premium African brands at a time. The application is rigorous. The fee is small but meaningful. The opportunity is global.
The filter, in one line
Anyone serious about premium African export has KES 3,000.Anyone who doesn't, isn't ready.
The filter · What we look for
We carry few brands on purpose. Every producer on the pipe meets all four of these. None are negotiable — but most of them, we can help you close, if you're otherwise ready.
Grown, raised, harvested or made on the continent. Provenance must be specific and verifiable — country, region, farm or co-op.
Your product can stand on the same shelf as the best in its category worldwide. Not the best in your country — the best in the world.
Already certified, or able to get certified quickly: KEPHIS, SPS, organic, fair-trade, halal as relevant. We help, but we won't carry uncertifiable goods.
You're building a brand, not testing a market. We invest in producers who will still be there when the pipe needs more volume in 2028, 2030, 2032.
The process · Six stages, no shortcuts
Submit the form. Pay KES 3,000 by card or M-Pesa. Takes ten minutes.
Within 7 working days, we verify your details and either move you forward or decline with written feedback.
Trade team runs samples, references, certification check and a deeper DD on your operation. Two to four weeks.
Admitted producers get access to Dhahabu OS — your partner portal — and a dedicated trade lead.
Export packaging, certification gaps, lot tracking, hospitality positioning. We adapt your brand for our buyer set — you keep your brand IP, we don't replace it. Priced separately, only quoted once you're in.
Onto the pipe. Containers. Mt. Kenya to Baku. Lagos to Dubai. Your product on the world's most demanding tables.
The fee · Honest
The application fee isn't what the real work costs — it doesn't come close. It's the proof of intent. Anyone serious about getting on the pipe has it.
The real onboarding work — samples, brand build, certification, hospitality introductions — is priced separately and only quoted once you're accepted. No hidden line items.
Pay by card or M-Pesa.
What KES 3,000 covers — exactly
If we accept you, the KES 3,000 is credited toward your first listing fee. If we decline, you get the written assessment — keep it, it's yours.
The application
Vague applications get vague responses. Tell us exactly what you make, where it comes from, how much you can ship, and why you're building something serious.
After you apply
We acknowledge receipt of your application and your KES 3,000 payment, and confirm the trade lead handling your file.
Written decision — pass or decline — with feedback. If pass, we book your sample-and-vet call. If decline, you keep the assessment.
Vetting closes, you get access to Dhahabu OS, your dedicated trade lead, and the brand-build proposal.
